Madame Tussauds

London

The famous London wax museum gives you the opportunities to mingle with the stars, from Kylie, Posh, Becks and Brad Pitt, to the new additions of Jonathan Ross, Lewis Hamilton and Barack Obama, there are hundreds of figures to see! The ultra-realistic wax figures typically take around four months to make, each by a team of around 20 skilled artists at a cost of £150,000. Real human hair is even used on figures, including beards, moustaches and eyebrows for that life-like look, and the hair needs regular shampooing and the figures daily cleaned.

Figures are arranged in specially designed areas including Superstars, Sports Heroes, Famous Actors and the Chamber of Horrors. So why not walk down the red carpet and strike a pose with the world famous, experience the once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet the Queen or challenge your sporting heroes in the penalty interactive.
